My own health improvement journey started 20 years ago. I was sedentary and overweight with no energy. I made gradual changes and became fitter, healthier and happier.
My transformaiton was centered around my love of science. I graduated from Cambridge with a degree in Experimental Phycology and over the next 30 years I maintained an active interest in human genetics, health and nutrition (whilst enjoying several different jobs, running my own business and living in Spain, Andorra and Portugal).
COVID hit and, like many, I reassessed my priorities. I decided to formalise my passion for health and nutrition and completed a Masters degree with the University of Aberdeen’s Rowett Institute.
My focus is very much on high quality science. What do the careful studies performed all over the world on hundreds of thousands people over decades tell us? I can cut through all the noise and nonsense on social media and arm you with both the knowledge, and the practical steps you need to improve your health and wellbeing.
